Olympics

Someone was inspired by watching the olympics gymnastics. He scooted the cushion over there and started jumping on his own while we continued to watch them.

I love my family. My Mommy, Daddy, Hudson, Benny, Sadie, Fish, Chickens, Lovey and all my wonderful Grandparents, Family & Friends!! I AM A LUCKY BOY!

HBDD 22 Months

Happy Birthday Dylan!! 22 Months!! Wow, where is the time going? I can't believe in 2 months you will be TWO!!! I love the little person you have become and love everyday I get to spend with you.

You are a fun, sweet, funny, happy boy!!

At 22 Months, Dylan:

First Jumpoline park trip & LOVED it.
Saying please & thank you
Attempts screaming but doesn’t get our attention so stops
Mimicking & repeating everything, basically have conversations with him
Into jamming out, dancing, listening to tunes
Loves watching & attempting gymnastics, loves Damien Walters videos & gymnastics olympics
Loves running around naked or in a diaper, no shoes
Jumps, backflips, dive, swim
Vocabulary is huge - “sick”; “I love you mama” I said “thank you”, he said “welcome”; eating popsicles in chairs and he said “cmon mama” I said “why eat on the driveway?” he said “why not?”, “walk to grammies house?” when we went on a walk, “look at this”
Became a big brother
Regression - carrying lovey around again & sucking thumb, mad at Mommy & Daddy for 1.5 days home (rejecting us, wanting Grammie or Babi), carrying his baby
Took lovey away except at naps & bed again after 1.5 weeks
Playing together with friends (chase, laughing, jumping, swimming)
Swimming: using arms, taking breath
Making a “funny noise” (grunt)
Telling us poo poo and pooping in the potty, 2x in one day (7/14)
Making bear dance
Addicted to his shows: puppy, underwater, tiger, chuggintons, truck, little einsteins
Very active, full of energy and smiles, sweet, funny little boy
Able to reach into top drawers, loves to get into everything
Sings Old MacDonald, Twinkle Twinkle and ABCDs
Says “ABCD” when sees letters written on things & will identify numbers
Ate dove soap
Plays in mommys make up
Testing with tantrums and saying “why”, “no”, “stop it”
Likes to read books laying on the rug with a pillow
Dylan reaction to Hudson:

Wanting to check on him. Climbing on crib to peek on him & saying “ He’s ok” “Mama Hold” - wanted me to pick him up, “He’s fragile”
Showing him back seat of Daddy’s car (H 3 Days old), somersaults, cars, jeep, boats, rocks, his shows, swimming (wanting him to swim & rollover)
Getting diapers, shaking his bottle
Woke from nap - ran to baby Hudson’s room to check on him
In the morning, asking for Baby Hudson & telling him good morning
Telling us to “be gentle”
Feeding & holding him
At trampoline park - came over & wanted to hold him, give him a kiss, and wanted to feed him
Loves running and checking on him if he is crying and loves for him to be around

Comparison

Comparison of Dylan and Hudson. I think they look similar. Dylan looks like he will be shorter and stalkier and Hudson looks like he will be taller. However, they were both the same length at birth. Dylan had more hair and it was darker. Hmmm...soo interesting.

Newborn Screening

Doctor said he is very strong

At 2 Weeks, Hudson:
3 days old - Doctor check up
3 days old - Dylan wanted to show him back seat of daddy’s car & to roll over
4 days old - Breakfast at Whole Foods & playground
4 days old - Trying to lift his head, 1st wipe down bath, finger and footprints
5 days old - 1st walk, no more vasoline on pee pee
1 week -  1st outing to Buy Buy Baby with Grammie, Dylan and Mommy

Day 9 & 10 - Slept 10-2:30 & 3-6
Peeling dry skin
Smiling
Day 11 - Holding head up pretty good
Likes to stand while holding
13 days - Went to Children Museum, 1st outing for Mommy & boys alone
Cries & pulls his hair
14 days - Great night, slept from 8:30 - 2 & 2:45 - 6:15
Day 14 - 1st alone walk in double stroller with Mommy pushing 
Starting Routine: Wakes around 6-7, eat every 2-4 hours during day, tends to cluster feed morning and afternoon/early evening, has wake time then naptime, bath and bed around 8-9, sleeps until around 2 then back to sleep until morning.
Great baby, doesn’t seem to cry much unless needs something food, diaper change, spit up, be with the gang.  (hope this continues)

Likes to grab his bottle like he is holding it.

Past week

Over the past week.....

Grammie at swim lesson with Dylan.

Daddy & his boys.

Went to Main Event for a birthday celebration and managed to only spend 20$. I bet in about 2-3 years that ends up being 120$!!! Dylan had a blast with the basketball & golf games.
