Mr. Music Guy.  Always amazes me with his beats and music talent.

Glow night at the trampoline park and sleepover with a friend.
Ice CREAM!!!

These cats

Who runs this house?  It is a battle of reminder to take control and your power back.  Even if it is from a cat! haha.  These creatures I left at home while we were gone and had our pet sitter come in daily.  Well, we will not do that again!!  They decided they would rebel towards a clean freak!  Yep, I came home to a mess of nastiness!  My cat journey has taught me that cats can be destructive if they are not getting what they want, have an attitude, like to rule, and will battle you for the totem pole.  We tend to clash until I slow down and remember that I love them and they do give me affection in the ways they want.  I just have to force myself to sit and pet them.  They feel everything and do want to be near us and are asking us to stop and pet them without really asking.
They are a reflection of me. HAHA!

Not sure how they get free rent and food.

Waiting for food.

We have started letting Bella outside since she has been so naughty!  It has been a huge relief, however, now we have to watch her since she is deaf.  She likes to follow us to our car and tries to get in then gets under our cars.  Makes it a challenge when we go to leave.

Readers

I came in the room and found them like this....

So cute!

Then Dylan joined.  These boys love to read.

Hudson checking out The NY Times Kid section Babi gave us.

Little Mr.  Hahahaha.

Travels:

July 27-maui to lax, flight canceled so had to stay night at Sheraton, thankfully in lounge to get help and hotel from good attendant then had supervisor helping, didn’t get to sleep until 3am, slept till 9, Whole Foods, toy store, scooter store, relax in hotel until airport that night. Didn’t get first class. When went back to lounge they helped us again and we were on priority and got it at the end! Had to reroute to Charlotte. Didn’t get first class then either until finally boys and i did. Got to Nassau finally July 29. Immigration was packed! Ton of people, huge line! Finally got through. Took town car. Boys didn’t sleep on plane, got 4 hours. Boat, fun hanging out, unpacking. Dinner. Then walked to ice cream on beach with pool. Way overpriced.

Stay night in marina to head out to the Excumas!

Day 1-July 30:

coffee, hang out, grocery store, head out of marina to between Leaf and Allen cay, stayed night. Swam with justin, got stuck in current so didn’t make it to iguanas with everyone. Found a ton of sand dollars and shells!! Swam around. Spaghetti, beyond meat, spinach, mushrooms, salad.

Day2- July 31:

morning swim saw cuddle fish, beautiful reef, went to iguanas, scared didn’t get out. Swam a little more. After lunch headed to highbourne cay. Great shells. Boys went dinghy ride for ice but no ice. Dinner-potatoes,sweet potatoes, salad, mushrooms, zucchini, beyond burgers. Justin saved baby octopus then justin and mark swam mark doing backstroke and straight towards nurse shark, justin went to circle after it and it started circling justin, stayed night

“Did you know you gave birth to a magnificent son?”-dylan, 10 to Babi

Babi advice-few house rules, simple, most important and stick to them. We don’t do that, it’s a house rule. I don’t like when..it’s a house rule. Positive point out. That’s great, family first. Kids come over and that’s are rule. Justin we don’t talk to mom that way.

Day 3- aug 1:

Harbourne cay snorkeled along rocks, found amazing shells, swam around to see  6 foot nurse shark. Tried get ice at marina and only for people in marina. Robbie and I laughing about wanting to say we were on a big yatch, left sat on front trampoline and enjoyed the sun, came to normans cay. Swam around saw starfish, playing with them and thanking them. Tired low key night. Seeing all the yatchs, thinking that is what want. Really want freedom. That is more stuff, more crew, more headache. Small, simple, adventure with family is want with power to be kind and help the world as a family and freedom to do what want, could have if wanted

Quality not quantity!

Day 4-Aug 2:

woke up at Norman’s cay to lightening and thunder. Left went to shroud cay to see mangroves. Adventure with the boys. Wading in water as a workout. Overcast and thundering. Then left to go to….

Dinner -salad, sweet potatoes with vegan butter and salt and broc and cauliflower with n yeast and beyond sausages in half on buns. Dessert dates with peanut butter and chocolate and strawberries. Hudson Gramps and Justin went to scooter back to the rock. Dylan listen to story and doing puzzle. Then he took Robbie Grammie and i over there and gave me a lesson in dinghy. Then the girls went to beach to walk. No see ums bad! Soft feathery sand. Left and went back to check on boys then back to boat. Dinghy was a challenge to drive-backwards to steer, forward, gas it kill it haha.

Hudson bonded with a grouper and was able to touch it.

Coffee is so good! Worked out the yoga on the deck. Went swimming again to Hudson’s rock looking for his grouper but didn’t see him. Left and went to compass cay for gas, water and ice. They charge $10  person so we decided to pass. Docking was fun. Mark was going fast towards dock and scared us all. He did great though being on stage with pressure of hitting dock, boats and people. Turns out the dock hand had the rope too tight and Mark knew what he was doing.  Shrimp boat coming in and staring at us. My favorite boat was at the harbor. Restored yacht. Left came to pike cay. Wow!! So pretty! Swam with hudson to the white sand beach that was a private beach. We love doing handstands and flips in the water together.. Then played with the ScubaJet. Paddle boarded. White sand, color of the water!! Love different colors of the water. Dinner quinoa rice black bean whole wheat tacos with salsa, cream corn, cumin, salt, vegan butter with salad & guac

Babi, don’t stress it. While playing game -hudson, 9 and being emotional slamming door and locking it.

Day 6-aug 4th

Didn’t sleep well because dinghy was banging all night against the boat and flaps of sun shades. Woke up early and then coffee. Went over to the sand bank and worked out. Was in heaven!!!! Seriously died and went to heaven. I love doing water workouts and wading in the water. The colors with the sand and warm water and sun! ❤️lunch, little rain shower. Then headed to staniel cay. Swam around with boys by boat while men went for ice and to get scoop about covid test. A 5 foot nurse shark came up to boat. Curious about the bucket. Went to see the pigs. They liked the stinky food. Then ate dinner and swam around boat, paddle boarded with mom to the rocks. Swam around the rock line to cave and back. Paddled with mom. Hung out popcorn then bed. Dinner-chickpea pasta, chickpeas with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, cherry tomatoes then added the cooked veggies- garlic, olive oil, salt, yeast, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, spinach-fresh to frozen

Nicest taxi lady, very dependable, early, knowledgable.  Luckily got to airport early so no stress.  Flew to Dallas then overnight at Westin.  Love having our trips broken up.  Really helps sleeping, showering, and ground ourself before heading back.  Flight back home was pleasant, so grateful for the comfy seats!! Arrived home and luckily we were in the front of the line to get through the Maui Covid checks.  What a great trip.  Now time to deal with jet lag and getting back into our routine.
