Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! So grateful for so much!

Health, Happiness, Family, Freedom, Shelter, Animals, Maui and More.

This year we decided to do something different.

We started a new tradition of a dish from different countries. We researched the countries all week and ended with a celebration of what Thanksgiving means to us and being all so similar, yet so different.

I made all of our food. We had fun and it was interesting.

We had Thanksgiving Eve pumpkin pie! It was soooo good, best I’ve ever had. 

Justin thought I bought it but I made it!

With so much food, it is nice to start with a pie on Thanksgiving Eve, brunch for 

Thanksgiving and eat our food all day. DELICIOUS!

American-stuffing, mash pot, gravy, broccoli 

Italian - Mac cheese

Japan - sushi roll

Chinese - egg rolls and mandarin vegan chicken 

Greece - spanokopita

Mexican - rice, beans, queso, chip, salsa

French - rolls, cheese, and green beans

Dessert - whip cream, ice cream, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, cool whip

We also made a Gratitude Tree, this was a fun project too.

Our day was filled with food, relaxation, sun, animals, Mama's ocean and night walk. Great day!

We miss and love you all!

 I finally got a white Christmas Tree! 

New tradition....I started a Gratitude Tree for Thanksgiving before becoming our Christmas Tree.

Figured I needed a fun idea to put the tree up earlier to enjoy it!

Redstone

We found a Redstone class for the boys that uses Minecraft to learn about logic gates, 

binary, memory, and other fundamental parts. Super complicated!

Why?

Logical redstone is a highly transferable skill. Whether you want to get into coding or computer engineering, logical redstone serves as a great entry point into both of these fields. In fact, almost all of the guides for this course got into logic redstone as teenagers and have since went on to study and pursue careers in these fields.

We are LOVING Peanut the Squirrel and Chester the Chicken,

they are soooooo funny. Such personalities and they LOVE us.

Chester already has the fox whistle down. I went to feed Star Bunny and hear whet whew. haha

Now we are trying to get them to sing and dance...they like Christmas music.

Trying to have a conversation with my Mom and play with the birds...

they wanted my full attention!
