H mommy date
Dylan at gym camp so mommy and Hudson had a Starbucks date and luckily were able to meet up with our friends before we were off to little gym.
The moon
Justin bought a telescope off Craigslist so we could start learning science. We have seen Saturn and today saw the moon. Great idea Justin! Excited for our space learning adventures!

Not sure if I am crazy but I wanted to start a journal of the different meals I make. I will make a meal and want to be able to recreate it! I am not a recipe follower so that makes it hard to remember what I have made, what I used, etc. I love to cook but it is an ad lib type of cooking not a follow a direction cooking. I will see a recipe or something that looks good and then make it Edwards Style - Healthy, Simple and Fun for the Fam. Feel free to enjoy my journal for ideas. Also, feel free to share any ideas with me! I am always looking for new ones. Any questions - just ask!

Artist
We have been writing the days of the week and what we are doing on our chalkboard.
I think they enjoy our morning daily plan.
Tuesday. Gym camp. Flip.
Swim and there is a diving board.
Yesterday was diving practice and he wanted to go to western hills today
and jump off the diving board.

Dylan's first real diving board experience. No googles allowed and have to swim to the side without help. He did great!! Then wanted to do it over and over and over again! His first to many more fun times!

D gym camp
Dylan is loving gym camp this week. It's all about the amazing race- cars trucks planes and boats!!!
No tears so far and he asks about it all day. So cute! He will be going now 1 day a week in the fall to their preschool program too. Nature center Monday and weds and gym camp on Tuesdays.
He had the choice of sleeping on floor or bed but had to stay in his bed. Look what he chose! Exhausted!
H anemia
Hudson had to get a lab test for anemia. doc requires it at 12 months since they do so much growing at this age. i remember getting it done with Dylan too and it was not fun! Hudson surprised me!! He was a champ. No tears, no wiggles, nothing. He sat there with his paci like a big boy! I was so proud of him. The nurses came in to see because he had not made a peep!
Poor guy is borderline anemic. So we have to start iron supplement for 3 months and recheck it in a month. Little guy is just like Dylan...doesn't like meat or milk. He's my boy.

Antz
Check out the ants new home! Will they make it from their ant farm through the tube to the dirt tower aka ant heaven with a blueberry in it?!?
I know what Justin will be doing all night! Hahaha. Watching, so curious :) one ant has made it almost half way through the tube then turned back. They all take turns and make it a little further each time.
We are such nerds! I mean Justin is :) Dylan will have the best science projects!!! Now, going to check out Saturn in our telescope!
PE teacher
Meet the new PE teacher. He has been doing the splits lately. I think this is my grandmas whistle and she was a PE teacher. Hudson taking after grandma Helen. Yay! 
Barton boys from April

Order
Some of my last posts (from eanes to tea party) are not in order. Urg! Luckily I noticed my phone app had not published them so republished them. Better late than never.
Barton Zilker adventure
We needed an adventure this afternoon. We didnt have a plan but came up with a great one: since barton was packed we almost skipped it but luckily found a spot by the field and then just walked over. Dylan was talking about pizza at Peter Pan so thought it would be great to try out the new pizza place off Barton springs and we could walk there. Great idea, that place is amazing! Great food and kid place. Finished up with a little field fun! Love watching my boys play together! Chasing each other, tickling, Dylan rolling Hudson in the grass and Hudson loving it, doing headstands together and exploring life together melts my heart! One adventure at a time, our memories are priceless!
Busy Barton!
I spy Dad and Dylan. Dylan gets braver and braver everytime we go to Barton springs. Someday soon he will make it to the pit with dad.
We walked to Umami Mia pizza after Barton. What a great kids place! We will be back!
