RIP Nalu.
Time with us: November to Jan 13, 5 months old.
Nalu, you were such an amazing buddy! We miss you dearly. Your joy, your kindness, playfulness, manners, intelligence. You were such an amazing buddy, friend, and companion to have around. I miss our petco trips, puppy class, snuggles and looking over at my passenger seat and seeing you there looking at me. Or, looking back at you in Hudson's lap or seat. Thank you so much for bringing us so much joy. We miss you but grateful we got to meet you and glad you are no longer in misery. We tried so hard to get you healthy. Your skin, your seizures to whatever else was going on inside you, sorry you had to deal with all that at such a young age. Rest in Peace now little buddy until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
You will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you!
So sad to lose this member of our family. Our new little foster fail buddy. We had to make the horrible decision of putting him down after his health went straight down in just a few days. When we fostered him we battled skin issues. Finally after getting some control over it we started noticing him doing something weird with his mouth. Finally, we realized he was having seizures and they were increasing in frequency and intensity. After a month of dealing with those and medication for them, it seemed we had them under control for 3 days. Seizure free, yes! The night after his follow up appointment he starts acting weird again being restless, anxious, panics, hiding. From Sunday to Friday down hill he went. Symptoms increased, he didn't what was going on, stared at the walls, forgot all is commands and tricks, barely could recognize his name or us. The vets were perplexed. They had a team trying to figure out his case. Never seen anything like it. Finally, after not sleeping, eating, losing his bowels we had to make the horrible decision. So so sad! How could your health turn so fast?! The vets think it was brain disease or autoimmune. Sorry buddy. We are glad to get to meet him and enjoy his time, joy and presence while he was around. Glad he is in a better place now!
UGH!
Nalu learns to skate. Good boy.
Good Boy
Such a good buddy.
I love my people.
Snuggles.
We will meet you at the Rainbow Bridge buddy :(
Out of nowhere this dog came up to us. It brought us all this joy and great energy and wanted to play with us. It even got in the water to go after us when we went to surf. It must of felt our sadness about Nalu. We didn't know where it came from but figured a van down the beach. I always see that van and had never seen this dog. The next time we went there, the van was there but no dog. Strange. Cheerful, playful and full of joy it brought us to let us know it is possible in another dog. Thanks Nalu for showing us you're still with us.
