Bella trying to tell me to play the piano.
She likes the viberations when I do.

Bella is helping herself to Baby Blue's food. I put it up so the dog and "Bella"
 and Sharky don't get it.....and.......

Sharky is taking notes...."food on window seal. Why isn't she getting into trouble??? I get up there and try to take a nap and wake up to being tossed off the counter??? I don't understand."
hahahahaha
Sharky, she is being sneaky and when she gets caught she gets in trouble!

June

Some June moments...
 Twisting at parkour.

We watched a few squirrel documentaries and they inspired Hudson to make a squirrelpedia
book of some of his favorite!

Very very impressive! He used Chat GPT to learn about them, found all the pictures and put with text in his own words, used AI again to edit and enhance his work, then created a Shutterfly book!
It took him a few days of hard, determined work. He was on it!
Another impressive project.

Making music.

Dylan has been into learning and teaching himself the software program, Unity.

He used it to make graphics for the beginnings of a game.

Love getting email shout outs when our boys are doing great things in their classes.
They had a new kid join their cohort and Hudson was incredible...

Hey Jodel & Justin!

Just wanted to give Hudson a shoutout for being wholesome and a great teammate. We had a new kid join the cohort today and Hudson was so kind and uplifting both during and after the game. Check out the screenshot!

He finally outgrew his other board so finally went to this one we got him a while back.

Growing! Love these colors on them.

Throwback to their buddy and cousin Logan!

Hahahaha, probably making fun of me.

Working on his Jippity project.

They started a new pet sitting job for our neighbor's son's girlfriend who is away for a couple months.

Giving George love and attention 2xa week while his Momma is getting cancer treatment on the mainland.
UGH!!!! Sending her thoughts and prayers. Giving George lots of love.

George is feeling comfortable with us. Ha!

Dizzy

June 11th...
Meet Dizzy.
Got a new bird!
He is a myna bird that got attacked and his wings never developed correctly
and his foot is messed up.

Guy and Dizzy
Little guy was so little. Dizzy loves Justin, when Justin leaves he makes a little sad sound, then happy again when he comes back, and an excited noise when he knows it is bath time.

Meet Dizzy.

HI.

He likes to jump around.

Aw.

Taking a bath.

Showing him a video to teach him words. Luckily, Hudson screened the show...
.it had the F bomb hidden in it!! Just what we need, a cursing bird. HAHAHHAHHA

I like these worms.

I am warming up and learning to jump on the finger.

He loves Justin.

Buddies. He has really started feeling at home.

A little about the Mynah...
If you want a chatty, intelligent bird to share your home, then the tropical mynah bird is the pet for you. Its striking features and friendly personality make this bird a favorite among bird enthusiasts who consider the mynah one of the best avian mimics of human speech, second only to the gray parrot.

Mynah birds are lively, social birds and have wonderfully outgoing personalities. It is friendly, clever, and adapts well to living in cages, which makes it an excellent pet that will breed in captivity. Hand-raised babies are completely socialized with humans and often make better pets. As young birds, they are easier to tame and train to talk. They enjoy human interaction but are not fond of cuddling or learning tricks.

If you get a mynah bird as a pet, be prepared for it to do more than repeat things you say. These birds have a wide and varied vocalization repertoire that includes whistling, screeching, and other noises that are oddly human-sounding.

Mynahs are renowned for their ability to mimic the human voice. They can learn up to 100 words. The key to teaching your bird to talk is repetition and patience. Choose the word or phrase you want it to learn and clearly say the word, repeating it over and over again.

Baby Bird Guy

Justin wanted to tame a myna bird so put an ad on craigslist looking for a rescue.

Sure enough a guy named Guy contacted him about a baby that fell out of the nest where he worked.

So, we got a bird and named him Guy.

So tiny.

 Baby Myna bird

So little.

Sadly, birds and cats don't mix. He was in the Ohana and we checked for the cats but somehow Sharky was hiding!!! Thankfully, Justin had to go back in there and found little Guy in Sharky's mouth!! Luckily, we caught him in time and little Guy was just terrified and bleeding a bit but ok! Shocked, yes! Traumatized, yes! We were not sure if he would make it since he was breathing hard but he was eating!! He made it, whew. Time passed then mixing up his diet and the trauma shock got him. Sadly, so sadly, he passed. Birds stop going to the bathroom and don't make it.
RIP little Guy!!! Justin was such a great bird dad to him and gave him! We enjoyed having him.
