The boys are almost done with their current grades, 2nd and 3rd! They are completing the summer bridge to the next grade to refresh the current grade before moving on.
I am proud of them for working hard despite the challenges of getting frustrated when they are learning something hard.
We continue to love homeschool and are aware of the everyday struggle, doubt and challenges that arise which is all good. It is a mental game we are playing and some days I wonder if we should give up. However, I am able to push through because I can see their progress, joy, love for learning when they are onto something the really want to learn, and know I will want these days back in the end.
I am grateful to take this journey with Justin and the boys. I keep asking and reminding myself to stay focused, dedicated and determined. The sense of accomplishment and feeling of pride and joy at the end will be sooooooooo worth it. My heart sinks when I think about how much they have grown and have to remind myself that it is not over yet and be grateful for where I am. Life! Aging! Wow! Who would of ever know.
Working hard at Outschool, a website we found with great kid classes online.
This is a great online learning resource where they are learning form an actual teacher, interacting with a class and getting a variety of topics from emotions, history, conflicts, public speaking, writing - just to name a few. We started doing one daily.
Our little book worms.
They love LOVE building legos.
And snacks. The snack battle.
Constant snacks....is he a hummingbird?
Our neighbor was so kind and bought them cards from Costco.
