D Surf Lesson
We got Dylan and his buddy a private surf lesson from a keiki coach. Dylan wants to be out with the older groms so bad and I feel like I am holding him back. I want surfing to be fun and him to enjoy it! The lesson went well. It pushed his boundaries and I am so glad it went well. The type of coaching is not yet for him and his level. Maybe try again in the future with Mommy's coach.
They went out, made it through the shore break. Some bigger waves coming through and steep drops. Since he wasn't being pushed at an angle the drops were super steep for him. He did so well and got so many great rides. The drops scared him and he has one wave take him a little close to some rocks than I would of liked! He did great and didn't panic (I did). They came in and then were going to go back out so coach could video. Dylan decided no! He was cold and done. That was fine. The session he had went well and I think he gained confidence and now we all know where he stands.

Growing up
These two are really growing up. Field trips, helping in the kitchen and dropping the 6 foot.
Milestones are huge and I try to update my blog often but sometimes can't keep up. haha!

One morning we felt this earthquake! Such a crazy feeling. Thought someone was outside banging on the house then the walls started rattling and it stopped.

Valentine
Happy Valentines Day!
Thank you to all for sending us love! The boys are always happy to get mail and surprises.

We had a great day. First Day of Mommy being back. Got to hang out with my family, make dinner together and celebrate love with these that I love so much. Poor Dylan got a horrible headache, slight minor fever and exhausted so he didn't last long.
So happy!

Mom to Oahu
I got to go to Oahu for another girls surf adventure. This time I just went with my good friend, Lara. We stayed at the same place and surfed with my coach, Doug Silva. He is such a great coach and we love hanging out with him. This time I got to meet, surf and hang out with Tom Carroll, an Australian pro surfer. What an honor! Watching these two surf together and the energy in the water from them both was incredible. To hear him say "Ya Girl" while dropping into a wave was a treat! Mahalo Nui Loa for such a great experience and teaching me so much Doug! Be back soon!
Boys went for healthy donuts after dropping mommy off at the airport.
First time to use Uber by myself. It was incredible and Lara and I were hooked.
Had a car pick us up within 3 minutes of requesting it.
