Kitten litter
It has been a rough foster month. This litter had a pack of 3 and 2 were premature. Sadly, around 4 weeks kitten fading syndrome kicked in. So so so sad to watch them decline so rapidly. From being so healthy to not thriving anymore. From playing, eating and being a normal kitten to not eating, playing, shaking, lethargic and overall fading. It was so sad. We took them in and I begged to see if I could turn them around and sadly that night one passed. I thought the other one may make it since she was gaining weight. Then, a week later the it started and we had to put her down. UGH!!!! I love fostering but these are the moment my heart is so sad. I have to remind myself how fragile they are and without us they would all die. 17-25% fade. Then, the last one surviving came down with a virus. Thankfully, it was just a kitten virus and he recovered. We were so sad and scared that the same thing was happening. THANK YOU Pono for pulling through!
Trying to heal her. UGH! See you at the rainbow bridge Felix. UGH!!!!

Happy Easter
Happy Easter!
We had a great Easter.
Dylan was up at 3:30 and we patiently made him go back to sleep
(or we went back to sleep, he stayed up!) until 5.
Egg Dying.
Sadly, we were not cooperating so Dylan didn't get to dye many eggs.
Nice one!
Happy Easter! Bed head from being up since 3:30!
Thanks Babi!
Money.
Spy glasses.
Hide and seek. The bunny hid the hard boiled eggs in the garage so the animals wouldn't get them. Smart!
Happy Easter Shelby.
Thanks Nana and Big Dad.
Ya, my own cup!
I love them.
Easter cookies.
Thanks Grammie and Gramps!
Learning
We have been busy with school, finishing the year (3rd and 4th grade!!!) and preparing for summer.
The boys did the standardized tests practice and real tests at the local school and it went well for them. They felt confident and felt they knew most of the material. The areas they didn't we reviewed and prepped them for the real test. Can't wait to get back the results.
They have been busy learning to code, type and other computer skills.
They are growing up so fast and learning so much. So proud of them.
Red Ryder BB guns.
They made their own shooting range.
Hudson got a desk. Doing school with little guys and Bella underneath.
Crazy hair.
Watercolor art with Babi.
Friends.
Beautiful morning! WOW.
Vending machine community service. We love helping out at MHS.
Sunset!
Sandcastles still happen!
So happy to see them playing in the sand.
Turtle police. They saw a lady lay down next to the turtle and they went over to let her know they are resting and she needs to be 15 feet away. Thanks to Uncle for being an inspiration. They did it on their own free will.
Making lunch.
So tired, can't keep our eyes open.
Learning typing.
Reading.
Those clouds.
Taking apart an old laptop with Gramps.
