Staycation Bday

The birthday continues.....

June to July is anniversary and big birthday celebrations!  Sadly, since the Bahamas was out due to this dumb COVID crap we decided to go celebrate our 13th Anniversary, Justin's 40th, Hudson's 8th and my 39th going on 21 birthdays with a staycation on the other side of the Island.

Honua Kai in Lahaina.  We were nervous with this virus and almost cancelled since most of the pools, all food on property, fitness center and spa are all closed.  However, they said that no tourist were here so we decided to at least go and sit in the AC.  

Glad we did.  NO ONE is here.  Deserted.  Crazy.  Not a sole in the lobby, two other small families near the pool and that was it.  A Hawaiian vacation to ourselves.  Sad and cool at the same time.

He requested to have a cheeseburger.  So, we had birthday burgers at Teddy's Burgers in Lahaina.

I hope you had an amazing day.  Surf, presents, cake celebration, family wishes, burgers, snow cones and games.  What a little boy's heaven.  Hope your day was as special as you are.  

Thank you to all for sending him gifts, cards, money and all the Happy Birthday Wishes.  He really likes talking to all the grandparents.  He mentioned after talking to Big Dad, "I really like talking to my grandparents like I have today."  So, it definently means a lot to us all.

We miss you all but grateful we get to at least still hear your voices and see you virtually.
