End of the year 2025-26

Cheers to another year of learning and creating!!

Hudson "officially" graduated 8th grade and is "technically" now a 9th grader
even though we already moved him forward last year.

Dylan is now a 10th grader.

This year was filled with Acellus online classes and creative projects, mainly using AI.
It was very independent. What a difference..High school vs. Middle school homeschool!
We continue schooling all year and their classes are on self pace not a typical year structure. They will continue working, aiming for their diploma and building their portfolio.

Hudson created a forest game using CodeEx AI in an afternoon. WOW.

Dylan making a multiplayer real time strategy RTS game using Unity, Cursor  & Claude.

Coding Minecraft Hacks. (mini Justin haha)

Hudson is now into classic cars and trucks.
Planning for his 1st car, watching Barrett Jackson auctions, oh boy!
He currently wants a 1950's 4x4 Ford F100 truck.

Hudson still loving his bunny time.

YES Maui Monkeys

Can you believe there are monkeys on Maui???????

Yep! And only 15 min from our house in Haiku.

I saw a flyer at the vet when we took OG looking for volunteers!  I told Hudson and he was so excited. So, we seemed out the opportunity to volunteer, applied, interviewed and now are waiting for the opportunity.  We got the opportunity but unfortunately there has been some unexpected change in their care. We are waiting for things to settle for them to allow us to start.
This isn't a play with the monkeys, it is a care for husbandry opportunity.
They are a sanctuary, keeping them in the most real life situation. LOVE IT.

In the meantime, check out their site.

They are having a silent auction to raise money……if you feel so inclined ;)

I bought Hudson a shirt and us a bag to take with us to volunteer.

WE ARE SO EXCITED and CAN’T WAIT!!

Sugar cove action.

Walking the beach.

Bad dog...pulling!

Nice walk.

Going out.

Coming in.

Driving

Driving Mr. Daisy......I would say watch out but he is so cautious - he needs to watch out for others!
https://youtu.be/PkzX8bgc1ic

It is official - Dylan is able to drive with us in the car.

Time to get learning.

Big milestones!

First drive....kuau neighborhood to get use to the pedal and steering.

First drive on the highway.

Huge milestone...driving from our house to Haiku.

Learning with distractions!

Since these 2 will likely be in the car with him.

Water Generator

Dylan got the idea of making a water generator from the physics class he is in.
https://youtu.be/e_7H3yHfRdQ

Great project to have Gramps help with.

Wires.

3D printed.

Generates electricity with water.

Figuring things out.

So cool.
