Mom

I had a great birthday! 40, really???

It was perfect and I did everything I love to do. Coffee with Justin. Workout. Swim with my boys doing a water, sand wish spread with the boys. I love watching Dylan dive down and swim through caves, swimming with Hudson, and Justin finding me shells. My class and Choice snacks. Library time. Boys showing me with love, affection, and sentimental gifts: guitar, bird bath, and wind spinner for my garden. I loved getting a lesson on the guitar from Hudson. I gave myself and the boys a dance game and that was fun to play. Zoom chat and cheers with my Mom with leftover cake from Hudson's party. I loved the cake so much I wanted to save it for myself :). I got to remember my Grandma and how special she was to me.

It was a day FULL of insights, goals, and self exploring. Perfect for a big milestone. I took control and did what I wanted and planned it vs. expecting someone to do it for me and having expectations. Thank you to all that made my day special and donated to the Keiki Maui Education. That made me happy to help them! I am grateful to all that have shaped my life. I really enjoyed spending time with my family doing the things I love and them making me feel special and meaningful.

That was fun.

I am going to miss this last litter. They were so snuggly, loving, and low maintenance. I am so happy they got good homes. I hope Little Christopher gets a great home too. It is so hard not to keep him!!!

Helped ice his cake, turned it from white to yellow but yellow was too faint, added red then turned pink and ran out of red color. We added chocolate and success. We froze it since it was vegan we thought it may melt. It froze and luckily it thawed before the party and it was delicious. Tasted like an ice cream cake.

Hudson 9th Birthday

Happy Birthday Hudson!

I can't believe you are 9!

It has been the best 9 years of my life.

You bring me so much joy, teach me so much, and I love you more than you will ever know.

I hope you had the best birthday ever. Whether you turn 9 or 6, we love you and are here for you.

The day started with apple strudels, presents, and an amazing swim at Hookipa.

I am glad you like your electric guitar that you wanted.

I hope you had an amazing day full of presents, fish tank setup, more guitar supplies, a zoom celebration, and ending with a friend sleepover. It was so heartwarming to see you have a blast with your friends.

It is special to see kids bonding and accepting each other for who they are. Speaking up about being nervous that they would be made fun of for things that mean a lot to them and who they are. It was so magic to see them all realize being different or what some may call weird is a good thing. Way to go boys! From girls, Christmas pjs, stuffies, costumes, and little guys - express yourself!
