Big Boy turns 5 Months!

Big Boy turns 5 Months!!!!  I could not decide which photos to post - so here is a few of the many I took!  We officially started cereal after his first bottle so we can all eat breakfast together.  He is not a fan of the cardboard cereal.  He rather eat a banana or apple but we are not introducing them just yet.  We do allow him to taste most of what we are eating & have sips of our water and play with our straw.  He insists since he grabs at everything we eat & drink.

Dylan is now:

• rolling over from Front to Back and Back to Front
• grabbing for EVERYTHING (yes he has discovered he is a boy)!!!
• putting EVERYTHING in his mouth (toes included)
• Using his fingers, not just his whole hand
• Sticking tongue out & making fart noises (thanks Daddy ;))
• Cuddling with Mommy by laying head on my shoulder when he first wakes from a nap
• Shy at first when around new people tucking head down on mommy, but always smiling
• Sitting up unassisted (few tumbles here and there
• Talking, has said (or sounds like he has said) Ye-wow (Yellow) and Ma-Ma 
• Seems to be teething - drooling, nose running, short naps, dots on gums..time will tell
• Starting to get on a nap routine of napping in the morning, afternoon & early evening (still 20min - one hour MAX naps unless in car or stroller of course)
• Starting to sleep through the night (down at 7 and wakes around 3 or 4, then 6am for the day)
• Trying to wean the night feedings so we can all finally sleep ALL NIGHT!!! Whoot Woo!!  He had us trained to feed him at night so he could have more play time & less eating during the day.  We figured that out & are now reversing it and he is eating like a champ during the day! Parents are suckers! Ha!
• Falls asleep to Twinkle Twinkle little star (yes, we sing softly)
• Has figured out that if he crys he gets what he wants
• He is the happiest, smiling, healthy, smart & STRONG loving little boy! We love him dearly more and more everyday! 
• Definitely a Manning busy bee.  He gets bored easily and wants to be on the go, go, go.  Life is too short to stop & take a nap....there is too much to explore & do.  He is learning (like Momma did) to stop, take a nap, and enjoy it.  Even though when he gets up he takes a minute to wake from groggy & grumpy to happy & smiles.  I think he got the Manning short temper & stubborness.  If he is not ready for a nap - he will NOT under any circumstances TAKE a nap!!!  It is Dylan's way or the highway.  If he wants out of his highchair because he is bored - HE WANTS OUT! Mommy & Daddy are patiently teaching him patience.  
• He gets excited when he sees the Bjorn because he knows that means he gets to do the fun things Mommy & Daddy get to do.  Smart little guy!
• Sure there are a few things I may be forgetting.
