We took the first day and got acclimated to our place, the altitude, and the snow. It was perfect to have a relaxing day after our travels to get situated and play.
They woke up when it was light out excited to see the snow. They couldn't get outside fast enough. It takes a while to get yourself and 2 kids dressed for the snow so patience was huge but they did great. Anxious to get outside payed off. They had a blast.
We walked to the grocery store which took about 4 times as long since they wanted to play in ever snow hill they found, flipping, sliding, eating the snow.
