Abundance Circle Project:
A friend suggested a project for the boys to promote food sharing. To watch a film about her program and answer some questions she suggested in why someone would do such a project and not get paid, benefit of growing food in backyard and participants would gain. This was a great idea. She created an abundance circle for Maui's people to give and trade all their fruit and veggies that are in abundance on their property. You give your abundance and receive other's abundance. It is all free and she does it out of her heart and soul. People trade their abundance so they can have a variety and their food doesn't go to waste. She volunteers her time every week coordinating, gathering all the goods and distributed them to her circle. It is such a great idea so food doesn't go to waste, connect the community and trade peoples produce to share with others. A film was created on what she was doing and she suggested the boys watch it and do a report on it. So, Dylan did.
