5th and 6th grade has been full of learning and letting go of fear, expectations, and control.
Our goal is to raise good humans and middle school is the perfect time to start learning independence, time management, organizing, and study skills.
Everyday is a learning experience for us all.
They retain so much more when they have choice to engage and learn the things they want to learn. Creating learning around their interests for the fundamentals of math, reading, and writing has been fun and also a challenging, mental experience for me as a teacher and Mom.
