At 11 Months, Dylan is officially a TODDLER (did I say that last month):
- About 22 lbs
- Teeth. Has 6 teeth total. 3 top, 3 bottom. Started to come in 8/4. Bottom one came in all the way in 1st.
- Walking progression. On 8/2 he decided to start walking to get around with little to no crawling. Walking while carrying something (sippy cup, shoe, book, etc). Bending over & standing back then walking. Picking up the walk speed to almost a run! Walking everywhere..officially a little person. Walking over little steps.
- Climbing on and off the sofa & bed (low). Gets on & off his Chico play car.
- Obsessed with climbing up the stairs and crawling feet first down them.
- Waving bye bye (when he feels like it).
- Pointing with his whole arm & hand.
- Eating a lot of the same foods we eat now. Midmorning and afternoon bottle are now in his straw cup. Loves smoothies. Trying to eat with his own spoon or fork.
- He loves to feed the dogs by dumping his food over the side of his highchair when he is finished or giving them his snacks as he roams the house.
- Trip to Colorado.
- LOVES. He loves to give Benny kisses or bite him. Loves the Which hand is the rock in game with Chris or Daddy. Throwing the ball for the dogs, holding the leash to walk Sadie.
- Repeats words. Constantly saying hot, mama, dada, truck, more, book, shoes.
- Watches you & tries to do what you are doing.
- Loves the leash, keys, balls, toilets, shopping bags
- Purring with his lips.
- Wants down in stores, tries to push you away so he can get down.
- Bring things shoes, ball, etc. to you.
- Bought him his 1st pair of shoes. Toms, Size 4.
- Opening & closing doors.
- Makes a howling noise & freaks out by kicking his feet and laughing while he tries to get his shoes off & plays with the velcro.
- Responds to commands (no, give to mamma, dadda, give kiss, ahhh)
- I'm sure there is more but I can't sit down long enough to write it down.
