Happy Birthday 21 Months!
At 21 Months, Dylan:
- Counting, using his numbers to count....1,2,3, wheels. 1,2 feet, etc
- Counting 1.2. Buses, 1.2. Doggies, 1.2. Chickens, etc.
- Counted to 10 by self. Occasionally missed a few.
- Swimming - using goggles
- Vocabulary is huge, making small sentences - increased
- Throwing Tantrums often
- Mine, I don’t want it, No, my turn, trouble sharing (hoarding toys, etc)
- Scarred of vacuum, dark (must have night light on), being alone if quiet
- Goes up stairs by self
- Said “People going in tunnels” at book people 6/18
- Asks Daddy to “scratch his back”
- Saying his nightly affirmation once Mommy starts it
- Took his diaper off & carrying down the stair saying diaper off - 6/21
- Jumping to monkey bars at little gym
- Officially does a somersault, feet over head
- Schedule: Wakes around 7, Nap 12:30-1 for about 2 hours, Bedtime 7:30
- Sushi still is his favorite food
- Carrying chickens around, chicken cheers
- Emotions: Mommy tired, Daddy sad, Doggy Happy, So happy
- Likes to tuck in/cover his lovey & giraffe with blanket *attached to giraffe now too
- Singing his ABCz. Doesn’t get them all right but has melody and most of them.
- Ask for tunes in Daddy’s car & jams out doing the white boy dance.
- Big swing
- Asking “Buy This” in the store.
- Talks to his animals, lovey & giraffe in crib in mornings & after nap & other times
- Cheese camera face
- Back Flip in pool, diving down for to bottom for torpedo, swimming with noodle
- Likes wearing a watch
- Funny leg walk
