At 8 Months
- 16lbs, long and lean
- Babbling like crazy: bababa, mama
- Interested in everything around him & exploring
- Mimicking lip smacking
- Pulling guitar lever on music toy
- 1st Elmo
- Blowing like he is trying to whistle
- Pushing his music toy around, favorite toy
- Hums to himself with paci in mouth when trying to go to sleep
- Puts head on shoulder when tired and likes to cuddle
- Eating basically everything in small little pieces so he can gum it
- Loves taking things off shelf
- Gives Mommy Kisses, “H give Mommy kisses” he leans in with open mouth
- Climbing stairs
- Drinking from cups
- Downward dog, trying to do somersault
- Getting into everything, loves getting into the dishwasher, dishes cabinet
- Dancing
- Loves playing in water -Beelining to the potty to play in it, dog water bowl, bath, pool
- Likes playing in shower
- Pulling up on everything, cruising furniture
- Teething - fever, poo, pulling ear, not eating, clingy, fussy, sleepy
- 1st urgent care visit for 103 fever, sleepy -virus +teething
- Knows his name
- Understands Words & Signs: No, More, Bottle, Eat, Cereal, Bottle, All Done, etc.
- Association & Memory - Remembers where dog bowls are, remote turns on TV, Lovee is for naps,
- Loves to go outside
- Gets mad because Dylan takes away his toy
- Loves sharing Mommy’s water and wants coffee, loves sharing her food, not so into his food
- Obsessed with Mummums
- Throws his paci out of the crib, about to take it away, he is learning no more paci if throws it out
