We went to the west side to stay at the Sheraton Kaanapali for two nights to celebrate Father's Day and our 7 year Anniversary. We were invited by Me-Shell and Mike because Me-Shell was finishing her yoga/surf retreat up and Mike was going over there, so we decided to join them for the weekend. We had a blast....especially the kids. Dylan was asking everyday if we were going to the condo today. Then, the day of he sat in the car in the morning and waited for us to leave. SO, we left earlier. I remember being so excited as a kid. So precious!

Happy Father's Day at Slappy Cakes. A great little pancake joint where you pick your batter, your fillings, topping and you cook them at your table. Great father's day breakfast and kid place.

Dad got bit by a monk seal. He went for a Father's Day swim and I thought he was kidding. Nope. He was so stoked to have such an experience. Makes a bite from a sting ray and a monk seal now. HA! Hope it isn't a shark next! Babe, stay out of the water. He was swimming and the monk seal came up super curious to him, getting in his face and nudging him. He thought it was fun at first until he realized that she was being a little more aggressive and in his comfort zone and a such a better swimmer than him. He didn't want to swim away too fast and have the seal come swimming fast after him thinking he was playing so he just slowly backed off. There were other swimmers around that the seal bit and nudged too. It was playing and just being curious but could of held him under water playing if she wanted to. Glad you are okay!
