The boys did the Annual Menehune Mayhem again this year. It is such a fun event put on by Ian Walsh and his crew. The kids get so much great swag, great food, fun activities and get to surf. Mahalo to Ian! This year Dylan was in the 6-8 year division and Hudson was in the 5 and under. The 6-8 was a tough competition. I was so proud of both boys for going out, catching so many waves, doing their best and having fun. Hudson's category wasn't scored or he would of placed by the looks at how well he did. They all got a metal in his division and he thinks he won. He was mad that he didn't get another heat since he wanted to surf more. Dylan got 4th in round 1 and 6th in round 2. He didn't make it to finals but I am so stoked he got to round 2!! Way to go boys!
