Checking out the camp.
The gear boat goes ahead of us all and sets up camp for us.
We arrive at camp with all the tents and camp set up.
Moments in nature.
The grill.
Camp!
The groover....aka the toilet.
Handwashing station with the stop and go sign you flip when it is your turn.
AND...they put hot water in the handwashing station in the mornings!
A trip of a lifetime.
Hanging out before dinner.
Morning coffee.
Chilly!
When we arrive, we pick a tent and set up cots and pads.
In the morning, we wake, have coffee, take down our cots and pads, pack up then eat breakfast at 8.
Since we were the rafting trip, our group of 8 left later than the fishing group in the mornings but arrived earlier than the fishing group at camp. Our guides were the ones that would finish up, pack the groover and last of camp and we had the lunch. We would hang out after breakfast and hike while the guides finished packing up.
At orientation they gave us a day dry bag, a duffle night bag and huge dry bag with our own pillow, sleeping bag and sheet. Our night bag, sleeping bag, sheet and pillow went in our dry bag that the sweep aka gear boat took to the next camp. We would arrive, pick a tent, get a cot and pad, our big bag and set up our space until we put it away the next morning.
Good morning.
Hike time.
Bark!
The trees.
A heart.
Camp down below.
Nothing around!
