Kihei to Lahaina

We had a very eventful day!  We went to Kihei and Marty and Ian met us at the beach and brought all their toys for us to play with.  They are soooo nice.  We had a great time and glad they got to hang out.  Hudson took such a great nap while we were at the beach we decided to continue our journey to Lahaina.  Glad we did.  We ended the day with a great dinner and sunset while seeing some whales.  Long day but incredible!

We started the morning off with a double rainbow!

Dylan wanted to take a picture of the rainbow and he knew exactly where he wanted to take it from.  Amazing picture Dylan!

Somewhere over the rainbow.

Mr. pull ups pooped in the potty again.  So proud of himself.

Not only was it a double it was a full rainbow.  Lets go search for that pot of gold.

Kihei Kalama Beach park.  Life size whale.  HUGE.

Woah. Little boy, big whale.

Little drizzle so we went for coffee.  Yum.

Contemplating.

Go Momma.

Yay.

Go daddy.

Ian and Lila.

Go Dylan.  Big board for a little boy.

Ian and Dylan playing.

Go grammie.

H and Babs checking out the view.

Daddy trying out the kayak and Grammie and D playing on the board.

Water toys are fun.

Hang loose.  D doing Hook em.  Need to change that.

Slater boys.

There we go.  Hang loose Hudson.

Good brother showing H how its done.

Hudson was soooo sleepy he fell asleep on my shoulder.

Dylan was so tired but we were having too much fun.

He probably had water in his ears because he kept putting his fingers in his ears.

Lauren and Dylan.

Marty and Lila digging to China.

Dylan loved playing in the kayak. It was one you steer with your feet.

Hudson so sleepy I put him in his carseat and he slept in the car while we were at the beach.

Totally pooped!

Since H slept so long in the car there was no way he was going to take a nap at home and Dylan was so tired he would sleep in the car and no nap/down time at home....so we continued the adventure and drove 30 more minutes to Lahaina.  Lahaina is where Justin and I have stayed for the month we came before and few weeks.  It was great to go back, visit and enjoy the memories.  We were also happy to confirm that we enjoy Haiku where we are at vs. Lahaina.  Lahaina is great to visit and great if we didn't have kids but the North Shore is so much better for living.

Boys playing in the rain.  The whole island was off and on rain.

Enjoying their coconut water.

They were having a whale festival in Lahaina.  We got to see Elvis!

Momma gets a feather extension.  I have been wanting one of these for a while now!

Dylan picked mommy a flower.  Such a sweet boy!  He told me I couldn't break it!

Sunset at dinner.  Great thing about the west side is seeing the sunsets and a ton of whales.

Mr. H loves ceviche!

Watching the people set up for a luau behind us.  They would set up and it would rain then they would repeat and repeat until finally it was cancelled.

Hungry!

Incredible!

Heaven!  Whales!

Sweepy boy!  Banana in the bathtub.
