School Cards

Forgot to write this for my own memory...

On Saturday we had Garden Day for Dylan's class yard then one parent broke off for the parent meeting.  Mommy of course went to the meeting and Daddy played with the kids.  As an ice breaker we picked out a card or two that spoke to us of what we wanted to get out of school this year for our child.

I picked two cards that spoke to me:
1. Young kids in a circle, holding hands as if they were playing ring around the rosies, outside in a huge beautiful field.  This spoke to me because Dylan loves to be around friends and loves playing outside.  I want him to be happy, playing, with his buddies, outside in quiet nature enjoying every second of his childhood.

2.  Another card was blue, in a forest with a little light shining down on one of the trees.  That tree was Dylan standing out from the rest of the trees.  I want him to be in a nurturing, loving and healthy environment that supports his desire to be exactly the little boy that he is.  The light was shining down on a simple road off the beaten path.  A road to a fun and cherished childhood.
