Makawao Parade

We went to the best parade we have ever been to, The 49th annual Makawao Paniolo Parade.  Paniolo means Hawaiian Cowboy.  The parade had a ton of fancy, old cars, trucks, jeeps, tons of horses, politicians, semi trucks, boy scouts, bands, girl scouts, etc that lasted about 1.5 hours.  The kids had a blast and were happy they threw candy for a little Shaka sign.  This will be an annual event.  Next time, the boys will have to join the stick horse race at the beginning of the parade.  They raced up the street then raced back down.  SO CUTE and such a great idea.

Balloon boys.  Dylan's first ballon before he lost it.

Dylan's second and last balloon before he lost it to the sky again.
Look up, you may see it make it your way.
