The train stops at another station and riders get off or on before heading back to lahaina. The engine turns around to the front of the train. We got to be in back for the ride out and in front on the way back.
Steam engine spraying water!
We stopped to fill her up. They let you off to watch but we went to the front of our cart and got to see.
Incredible view from the train.

Sugar cane train
We finally made it to lahaina to ride the sugar cane train. Wynter and Pi were going to go so we decided to join but ip was sick so they didn't go. We still went since it is the last week they are running and had told the boys that we were going. The 6 mile train is shutting down sadly after 45 years! Haven't heard why it is shutting down but my guess is Due to money. There usually is no one riding the train, you can have a car to yourself! Not this week, it was slammed packed! I had to wait in line for almost an hour to get tickets and luckily was at the front of the line or we would of not made it on the train at that time. I haven't seen that many people in maui wanting to do one specific event! Was crazy and a great reminder of how much I love it here away from crowds! Glad we waited and rode it. Was very fun for the kids and very relaxing. We will miss the train!
